Quinn Delaney began his studies on the bassoon at the age of 10. He is the bassoon fellow of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and Principal Bassoon of the Lake Forest Symphony. He has also performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Rochester Philharmonic.
Quinn was selected as a finalist for the 2016 International Double Reed Society’s Gillet-Fox Competition. He holds a BM from the Eastman School of Music and a MM from the DePaul University School of Music where he studied with John Hunt, William Buchman and Miles Maner. Also an active arranger, Quinn has arranged and performed works such as Franck’s Violin Sonata in A Major and Prokofiev’s Flute Sonata in D Major. He has attended the Music Academy of the West and was selected to be a part of the LSO Keston MAX Program.
