Originally from New York City, flutist Patrick Tsuji has earned degrees from Carnegie Mellon and Rice University. This will be his second year in the Civic Orchestra. Patrick was recently awarded Third Prize at the National Flute Association’s Young Artist Competition.
Patrick is currently a substitute musician with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony. He has spent summers performing with the Aspen Music Festival and Music Academy of the West.
His teachers were Jeanne Baxtresser and Leone Buyse.
